It was tough for me to decide on a rating for this bumper. The end result is really awesome both in looks and useful protection. It's very solid heavy steel, nicely welded and boxed for strength. I have no doubt it will last forever and take abuse. It's complete with the winch plate and shackles so you don't have to screw around with finding those and worrying about fit. The bumper studs fit into the stock holes perfectly. I actually installed it solo and it just slipped on there.



The cons...



The fog light mounting brackets were not in the right place. I had to drill and file on both the mounting tabs and the lights themselves. About a 20 minute job with a drill and small file.



There are two places where the finish had been damaged by tools right at the factory. They didn't bother covering them. These are not shipping problems, one is where a grinder was accidentally slipped across part of the protection tubes and another in the back. Not a huge problem, but kind of annoying they didn't both touching that up and I had to.



This may just be the way things have to be for strength, but there is very little space to get your hands into the back of the mounts and thread the nuts on the studs. This job would probably suck without an air ratchet and decent assortment of both deep and standard sockets, plus a swivel.



You have to slightly cut the stock fascia panel between the bumper and body. It's thin rotomolded plastic and I did it with a utility knife. Just would have been nice to have that info in the instructions with maybe some measurements.



Oh, also, the instructions have you putting on the fog lamps after mounting the bumper. DO NOT DO THIS! Put them on first.
