After replacing a "skin" of the stock Tacoma bumper that was bent by backing into a snow bank; this bumper is the "real McCoy." It is heavy, solid, and easy to install (did it myself with the assistance of jack stands). The only issue is not having a light for the plate which was remedied buy a purchase at local auto parts store. I had more problem with wiring the light because Toyota uses the green wire as "hot" and the black/white wire as ground. The bumper looks good on the truck and there's no fear of bending this skin.
