Many reviews written about how great the product is - and I can attest to the quality (and fast shipping). Unfortunately, I could not find any information prior to ordering as to its suitability for a VW Bug. Therefore, allow me to be the first to review that aspect: It does not fit. I think with a bit of custom cutting, it could be made to work. It would be handy if the description for this item clearly stated what models of cars are not suitable for this particular product. Oh, well ....
