I considered both the Bumper Badger and competitor Bumper Bully and chose the Badger because it was slightly cheaper. Having seen them both on other cars, they look almost identical in construction. The material is like a car floormat, essentially a thin layer of rubber. I assume it will provide some minimal protection and is better than nothing. The pictures make it appear very solid and inflexible and flat against the bumper but in reality, it is very flexible and floppy and folds over very easily and if you don't position it just right, it will sag in the center. It's essentially like strapping a rubber floormat to your bumper. Mine arrived in the middle of hot, humid summer and the reflector stickers had already peeled off by themselves in the heat inside the box, leaving only a very sticky residue on the rubber, which I had to clean off.
